According to the Government’s press service, the program contains 17 chapters and is aimed at increasing welfare, safety and the quality of life, especially by ensuring economic development and facilitating the creation of well-paid jobs, eradicating corruption, guaranteeing the rule of law, ensuring personal security, etc.
“The integration into the EU is the safest way for achieving these objectives,” reads the document. Therefore, the Government aims to create all the preconditions that will make Moldova eligible for obtaining the status of candidate for accession to the EU. The executive will continue to plead for the country’s reunification.
The Government intends to build a society based on the social model, investing in the development of human resources, ensuring the equality of chances, correctly and fairly redistributing the incomes to the disfavored groups and guaranteeing the people’s protection against any kind of discrimination. Investments will continue to be made in education, science, the development of information technology and electronic services. The reforms in healthcare will be deepened so that the people have equal access to public health, medical and pharmaceutical services of a high quality.
The program is to be transmitted to all the MPs for consultation. So far only the parliamentary groups of the PLDM and PDM expressed readiness to support the Leanca II Government.
