France arrested property of Kremlin-sponsored Russia Today TV channel in Paris, according to the Russian edition of Forbes, citing the head of Group Menatep Limited Tim Osborne.
Osborne said that the property of Russia Today TV channel was arrested in the connection with the Yukos case. He added that building housing Russia Today was also siezed.
Ukraine Today could not independently verify this information.
The French court also passed a similar decision on TASS agency. According to it, if the property of TASS abroad belongs to government, it will also be arrested.
France and Belgium on Thursday started seizing property belonging to the Russian Federation located in their countries. The move was made in connection with a multi-billion lawsuit filed by former shareholders of the now-defunct Russian oil firm Yukos.

An arbitration court last year in The Hague ruled that Russia must compensate the former shareholders of Yukos.
